i think it would be great, using standardised meta-data for setting different copyright information. this should be compatible with the PDF format, so the Meta-data could be export.
first: setting the copyright status of the document: unknown, copyrighted, public
secound: own license text or information
third: url for more copyright information
thats the way mata-data is used in acrobat 8 for copyright information
what way are you handling your copyright for announced documents?
