Progress bar in long time processes

I would like suggesting that in long time processes like csv import or web objects importing, a kind of progress bar or something should be shown to user in order to let him know if process is going on or not on server.

Now, only a "timeout" error is shown on client side, so it could be confusing for user and he could resend process to be done.

Try importing 2000products. Timeout is shown. User think process is broken down. He again tries importing same 2000 products... both processes are going to finish longtime after error is shown, so you will have 2 blocks of repeated products imported. I think this should be easily avoid showing a progress bar instead of a conection timeout error.
