stock management by product categories

Concerning stock management by product categories.
It could be particularly practical to manage stocks by product categories :
    I think to : - set minimum stock levels by product categories.
                    - set pulled or pushed flows by product categories (automatic moves between two stock locations thanks to the module stock_location_pull)

Maybe it's already possible with a combination of several modules..if yes..thanks to help me.

I rather suggest to create wizard to change many product settings (like minimum stock rules) according to categories. It will do what you want and not break current functionality.
