Product Variant Multi proposal for extension

Product Variant Multi is limited in that dimension types are assigned to single product template. Also when creating variants a part code is not created. The proposal is to extend Product Variant Multi to do the following. A many to many relationship between product templates and dimension types - e.g. many products can have the same variant type Colour - with the same values, Red, Green, Blue etc. Next in addition to having a dimension value, extend this object to include the column dimension code. e.g Red has code R, Blue has Code B, and when the variants are generated it concatenates to the product code. So a Shelf with Product code SF generates Shelf - Colour: Red with code SFR for example. Happy to work on myself with guidance.
