Field is too short

Hello all,
I received a request from our accounting departement. When they've an open customer invoice and they click ont the 'Credit Note' action, a new window with a field 'Description' is displayed. The problem is that the 'Description' field is only 16 chars long.
So the request is to have a bigger field.
