The existing standard "Overdue Payments" report (in the right-hand toolbar on the Customers screen) could be a useful starting point. So too could be the Aged Trial Balance (under Accounting / Reporting / Generic Reporting / Partners / Aged Partner Balance).
I am well underway with this. The Overdue payments report IMO is a waste of time, after wasting 4 days adapting it. The parser doesn't define periods, access partial reconciled amounts and generally pulls information from the wrong place.
A better start is the aged trial balance report, combined with the onchange function from account_voucher extension. I should have this working in a couple of days anyway, just need to sort out the aging part, have open items, reconciled and total balances all sorted.
