Browse button should lead to clipart, not main page

Registered by Oleg Koptev on 2011-06-27

Currently we have first button in our navbar leading to main page. I think it is not right, in fact we not browse on main page, for browsing you should select 'New clipart' and then browse through NEW clipart (look below).

So this is first drawback.

Second. We have so much cool clipart and so much submissions, and vast of great cliparts fall out of sight very quickly and became 'buried'.
So I propose:

1. Use real /browse page, not main page.
2. For /browse page use SELECT ... FROM ... ORDER BY RAND() ... - with this we get randomization of query results, leading to resurrection of good 'ol cliparts of all the times :)

Just my thoughts.

Whiteboard

I'm agree in /browse.
We need to differentiate the two pages (/browser /homepage), so why not:
- quit tops on browse
- show 12 clipart ordered by date, and aftern other 6 rand ordered.
