Provide a visual busy indicator so that the user can tell when the recalculation process has completed.

Provide some indication that the recalculation is in progress. At the moment the user has no way to see that recalculation is in progress nor that it has completed. As the user must, at the moment, trigger recalculation manually we can use any means we like because we can assume that the user will wait for completion.
