Allow variables to be tagged with dimensions and implement formulas in such a way that dimensional inconsistencies can be detected and reported and so that results can be easily displayed in other units.

Give the user a means to specify the dimensions of a variable. When calculating a formula combine dimensions when multiplying or dividing and insist that dimensions be compatible when adding and subtracting. Report inconsistencies to the user. Display dimensions in results. Allow user to specify which actual units to use for display.
