Abliltiy to set default software category

For use with GLPI I would like to see a feature in the future that allows the default category for software to be set to something other than new. That way when OCS Inventory finds new software GLPI will know about it. While some people might like to make their own categories for various programs. I feel this feature would be of much help to those that do not care about having various categories and always just move everything from new to unchanged. I have seen various post about people wanting to do this so this is a feature that others have wanted also.
