Cancelling an ongoing image

During an instance snapshot, the instance can be stuck in particular task state, the reasons could be image uploading taking a long time, restart of compute etc.
This results in customers unable to perform any further action on an instance.
This feature would expose an API extension to cleanly cancel an ongoing snapshot.

We've been discussing more complete integration of 'tasks' with the API. I'd like to avoid adding any more features like this until we get something more generic put together for all tasks. --russellb
