Album view - Filter by artist, album, genre

Currently the album view only displays the album art of albums. I think it would be great if the album view could also allow for filtering by artist or genre (as can be seen in iTunes http://pradt.net/imgs/photo/grand/itunes8.jpg at the top, just below the playing song).

Personally I prefer to have a graphical overview of artists to search from (e.g. an album cover representing the work of the artist), with an additional layer below it which displays a list of the albums, be it with or without covers before each album. (Yes, I am an iTunes user).

IMHO that is a bug.
