This project hasn't seen much activity for a while, I think some discussion of how to SMF-ify a package should be done. Minimally a document should come out of this. In the best case, a "pretty good" script that can take the majority of init.d based packages and make them use SMF. To do this, some basic classification of the init.d operation needs to be done (manually?) in order to create an appropriate XML description for the package.
