Allow status detail reporting from vendor L3 device drivers

Enhance the show command for L3 services to include a status detail field, where a vendor's device driver could include additional status information (e.g. indicating why a VPN connection create failed). Goal is to provide more information to the user to allow easier troubleshooting of problems (versus an admin digging through logs).
