E2E WAN As A Service (WANaaS)
Project E2E WANaaS is to enable automation of end-to-end connectivity and
embedded value-added service provisioning, using User-Centric NaaS API and
covering multi-domain aspects in an underlying technology-agnostic way. It
makes E2E WAN service easier to be consume as an E-business and better to
support InterCloud/
WAN. The required E2E WAN services may span over one or multiple domains,
while technologies for each domain may be different.
This blueprint proposes to add a new set of APIs extended for Neutron and
corresponding data models for the Inter-Domain topology API and E2E WAN
service orchestration across multiple domains, including Inter-Domain path
selection and service segmentation into related domains.
Together with the User-Centric NaaS API proposed in another blueprint, E2E
WANaaS enables automation of end-to-end connectivity and embedded value-added
service provisioning and orchestration across multiple domains.
