Show connection speed (notification) p.e GPRS or 3G or 54mpbs Wi-Fi

Network Manager, or more precisely the nm-applet should show the connection speed. This is helpful for mobile internet to show if you're using GPRS, 3G, HSUPA, etc... and could be the same for Wi-Fi Networks..
