Implement log4j-style logging

The current use of glib2's logging system is suboptimal because we write everything to one log and have no mechanism to specify different log levels for different subsystems.
Piggy-backing on glib2's log domains seems reasonable. The support code will implement hierarchical loggers like log4j does.
Later directions will likely add the ability to use more than one log file, as well.
