Central geography model, local story model
Registered by

Users positions are tracked in a central place. Everyone sees the same physical world. User's story state is managed locally by a z-machine running a story that has been distributed to everyone. Commands intended for the local z-machine are routed to the central server first. Position and interaction with other users occur on the server first, then are rendered on the local machine. Rendering occurs visually in Canvas 3D. Story state is updated in local z-machines (possibly adding invisible commands to the original command entered by the user). The distributed story should contain non-player characters whose state can be changed to reflect interactions in the central "town".
