mylvmbackup; Using ZFS snapshots instead of LVM

mylvmbackup currently only supports Linux LVM snapshots. It would be neat to support other snapshotting technologies as well, to make the script useful on other platforms as well. The most prominent candidate for this is the ZFS filesystem on Solaris, which includes snapshotting capabilities (and there already is a Python script names "SnapBack" that utilizes this functionality to perform MySQL backups: http://
