Additional author/supplier information
We'd like to extend the existing 'author' field to link to more information; for instance, where the author of a package is 'Mirantis', provide company information, links. Potentially supplier information can apply to multiple packages so it's preferable to link to this information. Suggest managing suppliers same as categories (i.e. add them separate from packages) and name-based lookup inside package definitions. Link in UI (catalog and details) from 'author' to pop-up or page, and link back to all supplied packages. Suppliers can be linked to existing categories to allow filtering (this could be explicit or dynamic based on uploaded packages).
