Allow Mudlet to work with MUD servers using Unicode

Extend Mudlet to handle interaction with MUD servers that use a character set wider than plain ASCII, specifically using text streams encoded with Utf-8. I currently envisage support only for Left to Right text in scripts with a Latin origin.
