Is there any reason not to use the built-in Qt translations tools? That is: you refer to translating the Mudlet application - or do you mean this website? - Slysven

The website, and I was referring to the .po files because Launchpad has a crowdsourced translations feature. - Vadim

http://labmud.com/connect/ mentions that it makes use of unicode characters, we should be able to support them with this.
