Have Mnemosyne pop up when new cards are due
Maximise mnemosyne to 'pop up' a question once an hour (or predefined time)
It means that during the day mnemosyne could be running in the background (ie minimised to system tray) and on a schedule it could prompt for an answer. This would be very useful!
Cheers!

This will definitely not be the default behaviour, but it could be implemented as a plugin

s3a: Instead of having mnemosyne pop up altogether, it'd be nicer to have a small flashing message on the corner of the screen asking you to click on the flashing light similar to how the timer-applet flashes in GNOME when the timer has elapsed. It would also be nice to tell Mnemosyne how often to ask you questions (every hour, etc) as well as to tell it to ask you a question from a different deck each time unless you got a question in the deck wrong (below 3 for example). The flashing message should be ON THE PANEL just like the timer-applet is and not have a constant message hovering over what you're trying to view. So essentially, it should be the smallest of harassments and should be an extremely good way to review for exams lets say by turning the 1 hour time interval to lets say 1 min. (I posted this elsewhere but not as nicely explained as here)
