Qt5 support is already in the SConscript. Building with C++11 is just adding a flag. The big barrier to switching this flag on is that our Windows and OS X build server VMs do not support it (VS2008 and OS X 10.6.8 gcc).
Sean is preparing a Windows build machine that uses VS2015 if that helps.
