In lp:~daschuer/mixxx/daschuers_trunk there is a "hack" solution using the PlayerInfo Class.
It is called "set log". Every time You start Mixxx a new Playlist is created and filled by the played tracks.
Currently there are three classes calculating to which track the audience is listening. This should be done by a single class which emits a signal to all other interested classes,
