An interface to get the currently playing tracks info and possible the queue on AutoDj

I want to use Mixxx with Beam while DJing at tango nights. One can use a projector to show what is being played now and what is next etc.
I have been looking a bit into Mixxx source code but it's not really obvious to me where to add this.
ex. audacious can via a command line application tell what is playing now, and what is coming next and even the coming 10 or so songs in the queue.
