Current plan is to implement a web page that the webkit panel uses as it's start address. This page will take the version of MileTrak being used as a parameter and let the user know if there's a new version available.
I also plan to add the link to the download page and show the release notes.
I now have the basic functionality available in trunk. The web page in question is in the folder VersionChecker in trunk.
