Implement an accessible version of the unresponsive options menu

Registered by Jorge Silva

The Android framework presents an issue (https://bugs.launchpad.net/meadl/+bug/617060) that prevents Tekla users from having access to the in-application options menu.
An alternative to this issue is to experiment with modifying some of the layout flags that define the interaction of windows with the IME. More information is available at: http://bit.ly/LayoutIMEFlags

Another alternative to this issue is to employ the built-in accessibility API to:
1. Open the options menu programatically
2. Detect the event triggered when the options menu is open,
3. Extract the contents of the options menu,
4. Hide the options menu, and
5. Replace the options menu with an accessible version
