Manila share deletion procedure takes time in deletion of share/volume in backend driver. This keeps quota blocking until share is completely deleted and not permit end user to create new share. We are proposing the blueprint to introduce deferred deletion. This means after request of share delete, it will be removed from quota immediately and backend driver continue deletion of share in share manager using some periodic callback function. This way share quota will be available immediately for creation of new share.
