Store variants in a database

Allow variants to be stored in the PostgreSQL database. Basically, this would mean coming up with the necessary tables and implementing a DbSource (in MafiaLib/Sources) which would load the setup from the db. Ideally, there should eventually be a tool to create your own variants in some kind of web app.
