A brief blueprint for furthering button design in Lucidity

Registered by Tyler James

I've done a bit of work modding the buttons of Lucidity, tell me what you think. These have gotten a bit closer to the 'soft' edges seen in the original screen shot.

Whiteboard

[Isaiah Heyer] You would be better off using pixmaps. You could get the buttons to look identical to the mockup that way.

Although, I think the button in the mockup doesn't look very good as a toolbar button.

[Tyler] First, I'm not really sure how to use pixmaps for that. Second, I'm really trying to aim for middle ground between the screenshot and what actually works best for usability, and i agree, the originals button may look cool but would not be very good for an actual button. So i'm not trying to get it monochrome, just experimenting with softer borders.
