Overall Review and Re-Assignment for Lubuntu Sub-Teams
https:/
While each and everyone is trying his/her best to improve the system for 14.04, suggest, think, etc ... there is a very important thing, IMHO, that we should NOT forget nor ignore for this cycle. IMHO, the BEST time to start this is RIGHT NOW. It needs ONLY few days to finalize everything and decide what to be done.
Long story short, I'd suggest to start reviewing each and every Sub-Team and evaluate each and every sub-team based on the achievements and everything else.
Still not clear?
One Example is: https:/
As an overall evaluation for this team: This Team had NO real/clear activities simply because all Lubuntu membes and users were giving support to each others and to the whole world. The idea was to build a SWAT TEAM for backup and support everyone including the team and users but that never happened. People simply were interested about some other area. I see no reason why this team is still exist.
Also, it is not just to evaluate or do a re-assignment to each and every team but even more to SET Targets and Plan for each one.
Each Team Leader must discuss with his members of that team and decide what is the plan for the coming 6 months. This is really important AND needed.
Also, it should be clear that Quality has the upper hand over Quantity. It is not about how many members this Sub-Team has, it is about how ACTIVE they are :)
Thanks!

Reasons to shut down this Sub-Team (Support Team):
- It has never ever been used
- which means waste of resources (time and effort) to maintain a Launchpad Team
- Support is given on each and every channel by many people
- The idea of having a Sub-Team for Support is to organize the people who are interested in Technical Support which never ever happened
- Other Communities like Xubuntu and Ubuntu GNOME have no separate support team
- We can always re-create a Sub-Team if we feel the urgent need for that
- There is NO ONE at the moment to look after this team right now
- Team and members of this sub-team were both inactive and with no activities whatsoever
- Lubuntu Community has its own way to provide support on various channels
- The Priority for this cycle is to have an LTS Release and re-evaluate each and every Sub-Team.
For all the above reasons, I highly recommend to shut it down.
