The basic Lubuntu version should be kept rather lean (CD size). I prefer adding packages instead of removing some of them after the installation.

Whiteboard
[amjjawad] +1 to keep Lubuntu Desktop Version within the 700MB (CD Size) and not more than this for Lubuntu 14.04 LTS.
[vanyok] Looking at the goals for Lubuntu I give my +1 for this proposal. Let's keep CD size for the old hardware installations.
[David Yentzen] (+1) Keep basic install lean
[hardboot] +1 Keeping the install iso small is really important for accessibility, not everyone has a really fast or stable connection so size should be kept to CD for as long as practical.
[gilir] It's already the case, and it will stay as long as we can, except for powerPC which is currently very problematic.
