This specification is about installing local software on a thin-client disk for booting, that include minimaly the kernel and the initramfs, with a bootloader. For an easy mantenance, it must support automatic installation and updating, with a test mode and fallback in case of problem. For the pupose of this spec, we will consider the thin-client as an embedded device.
