Unified Artwork From Power Button to Desktop

Wouldn't it make it simpler for the user to hardly notice the standard Grub > Splash Screen > GDM(or KDM) > Desktop? Right now, the backgrounds and fonts are varied - and I think it'd be nice to improve the overall user experience, by making the grub screen, usplash theme, gdm theme, and desktop themes use the same background and the same(or at least similar) fonts and such.
