suspend or turn off with power button

Should be possible to choose for suspending computer with a press of computer's power button or shut it down with long press to the button like 2 or 3 seconds ?

I come again, what I want to say is to have second choice for the power button instead the only choice "press", we should have a second called "long press".
It should be interesting for people who use the button power like me for shut down, in this case we could put suspend on short press and shut down in long press, for example, like with the smartphones.
