Introduce better categorization in the software manager, like in Ubuntu 10.04

The software manager is just divided in a few main-categories and software is very hard to find there. I would like to see different icons for the applications and more categories, just like in Ubuntu 10.04.
If I want to find an application I already know about it is no problem with the built-in search function. But if I just want to install some new applications and search in the "catalogue" it is very confusing and won't be much fun. However, in Ubuntu's 10.04 software manager it definitely is fun.
All the other features of Linux Mint are just great and I'm really happy with it :) Thanks for developing such a great distribution!
