Remember searching in file browser so that you can click "back"

When you search for a file or folder in the file browser, and you click a result but decide to click the back button, the search restarts. Would it not be better to remember the search so it could be shown instantly? It is possible that the user has changed something in the path he was at in the file browser but you could show a notification that this is a cached version and a "refresh" button.
