'Properties' and 'open file location' in Cinnamon menu

In the Linux Mint 'start' menu, using Cinnamon, there are only options on right click to add a shortcut to various places, and uninstall the program. It would greatly help the usability if there were a button to access the properties window, by which we could change the name of the shortcut and see other details, and a 'Open File Location' button, by which we could open the location of the file that the shortcut leads to.
