Improve the navigation available with apps displayed on the panel

There are two parts to this, both related to apps that are displayed in the panel when they are running.

1) If I run Firefox, for example, the app shows in the panel. If I hover over that icon in the panel, it will display a small screen shot of the Firefox window. But as soon as I move my mouse, the screenshot goes away. It would be nicer if it would allow me to move and click on that screen shot to take me to that app. In particular, if I have multiple tabs open it would be nice if it could show each tab and let me click on one to bring the focus to Firefox and make that tab the active one.

2) When you right click on these buttons you get a context menu for the button. It would be more functional if it provided a context menu for the app itself. Again, with Firefox, right clicking on the app button in the panel should bring me a menu with options like opening a new window or a new tab and stuff like that.
