Include ZIM and NoteCase manager
Hi, I'd like to nominate these in place of Tomboy (or easily accessible).
Small Notes:
For Notes - I'd also like to see ZIM included in Linux Mint. As soon as I started using it, I deleted Tomboy notes. Tomboy started to get annoying and lacked many features that were in ZIM. Even though ZIM is still not a 1.0 release and has some quirks, it's better than Tomboy in my opinion - the local hyperlinking works! The Tomboy developer even got the idea from ZIM.
Note taking:
Also, I found another application that works very well with ZIM, called NoteCase Manager (ZIM's hyperlinking allows me to open a NoteCase notebook). No more stray .txt files with notes on how to restore the GFX menu, etc. I would actually use NoteCase instead of ZIM, but it's not really the same. Though, the developer stopped at the current version and markets newer versions commercially, the last publicly released one does appear to open source. A tree-based, note taking application with hyperlinking. It works fairly well and can export to HTML, though I wish the actual text editor was just slightly better.
At any rate, I think these apps should be listed in the Mint Install so they are easier to find.
Thanks.
