mate-panel save layout file

I would like to have a function to save current panel layout to a “mate-panel –reset –layout=foo” like file.

It would be a huge help to deploy a Company layout and is may be a interesting thing for some backup programs as well.

At the moment we drop our company layout in /usr/share/mate-panel/layouts. We build it manually and it is not so easy to find applet-iid etc.
