Mint should coordinate with Raspberry Pi

Registered by Nicholas Bodley

Raspberry Pi is set to become extremely popular. Once deliveries in quantity start (they will!), I suspect that it would be mutually beneficial to have a Mint version. Some cross-publicity should benefit both organizations. Mint could arrange for R.P. (or a trusted third party) to sell SDHC* cards with Mint for R.P. loaded. I don't know how large the distro code can be, but it's lots more than, say Puppy. I do realize that Mint has limited resources, though. *IIrc ||| Somewhere there will be a developer, maybe an amateur, who would love to prepare a Mint for R.P. Such a person might want limited help with the trickier parts of porting. (R.P. is ARM-based, and has more graphics for the money than any other product.)
