FreeFileSync is a folder comparison and synchronization tool: http://freefilesync.sourceforge.net
This functionality is hard to find in a linux distribution. It's not in the repositories and is complicated to install from the source.
A good synchronization tool should be a very useful addition to Linux Mint.
