Mint Backup could steal some interesting functionality from Deja Dup

Mint backup is great but could offer some additional functionalities like backups to external servers (scp, ftps, ftp), encrypted backups and scheduled backups. All this is done in a elegant way by Déjà Dup, so maybe its possible to merge both programs and create a improved Mint Backup.
