Lubuntu did it out-of-box where Linux Mint after hard try failed
I promised to install a Linux for my friends Asus EeePC 1025C. After installing Linux Mint 17 I was having problem not having hardware acceleration for graphic. I also got a notification about the issue. After trying hard; http://

I was unable to succeed.
The CPU usage was very hi, event at idle state. The cores were running about 70%.
I was desperate and after thinking I thought to install the Ubuntu, as those site takes as starting point. So I gave the Lubuntu a change. And out-of-the box things seemed well. The resolution of display was ok, and for happy suprise the CPU usage were at bottom, less than 3%.
So, what Lubuntu is doing about Intel Atom N2800 and intel GMA diffently? And how shall thiss advance to be put on Linux Mint?
