Include Deja-Dup for LMDE (xfce)

It would be great if Deja-Dup could be loaded from the repositories for LMDE. (Maybe that's already the case for the Gnome edition ?)
The Mint Backup tool is handy but only works for local backups, no scheduling, encryption, ...
It can be installed by temporarily enabling the Sid repository. But then it pulls a huge load of dependencies in which are impacting on the XFCE desktop. (For an unknown reason the software manager has been removed.)
