Better general transfer manager

Currently the general copy/paste (for users that do not want to manually complicate everything anyway) is lacking. There is no queue management, failed transfers have no retry so you have trouble when 1 out of a few hundred files fails because of a temporary lock or unavailability, and no copy or copy rest, etc... even windows xp does it better at this stage... The ideal is something like Copy Handler ( copyhandler.com), the dev of that app has considered porting to linux in the past but he has his hands too full with the windows one. I am not asking for miracles but really the current state of affairs is pathetic and a real barrier to converting new users from windows.
