A desktop grid in X, Y for icons to snap to

it would be nice to see a system where icons are center anchored and have equal padding on all sides, a desktop with a proper "grid" of icons, not only columns, also the ability to adjust the size of all the icons collectively (Currently icons can be adjusted individually, but it would be neat if it was done with specific values instead of drag and drop. Grid column/row size should preferably be adjusted as well, in accordance with the scaled icons, And then there should also be an option to adjust the desktop font size.
