Linaro Hardware Needs

We're giving away boards to linaro engineers.

What hardware do you need for local, or remote development?

What is the rationale for getting your hardware. What will linaro not get if your hardware does not arrive.

We currently have a wiki page, and a spreadsheet for tracking current hardware and requests, but it doesn't seem consistant.

We could use a hardware request system. We could use google forms to request hardware.
ACTION: Joey will convert the wiki to a spreadsheet
ACTION: Joey/Arwen will create a hardware entry form. Necessary fields: requested for, requested by, reason, quantity, model, urgency, deadline.
ACTION: Joey to update the internal hardware wiki page and to email everyone@linaro (stuff moves to spreadsheets, contacts remain).

We need to consider porter boxes for the lab. We need to increase the capacity so that we're not impacting validation.
ACTION: Paul Larson will request hardware for porter boxes.

We need to build a cache of boards in the cambridge office so that new employees don't need to wait for hardware shipment.

ACTION: Joey to talk with Arwen to update new starter tasks with inquery about hardware availabiliy. If member organization has a board available then try to source it from the company first.

ACTION: Joey needs to check unalloated boards and to confirm their status.

There is a problem on how to actually test releases and milestones.

ACTION: Joey will talk to stephen to add a "you will test some images" to the employee requirements page for assignees from member companies.

ACTION: Joey to update internal hardware page to note that we'll loan hardwarer to community members with sufficient justification.
